LCDI is a registered civil-society organisation in Masaka, Uganda, supporting rural women, young people and families through sustainable education, health resources and micro-enterprise.
Our story
Change starts by recognising what communities already have.
Since 2007, Lwannunda Community Development Initiative has brought together community members, local leaders and partners around practical responses to poverty, unemployment, health challenges and environmental pressure.
Our role is to help unlock local potential: building useful skills, widening access to knowledge and connecting people to opportunities that can continue long after a project ends.
To support, educate and empower rural communities through sustainable education, medical resources and micro-enterprise.
